20 Week scan! x

Hey everyone!
So i went for my 20 weeks scan today.

Everything went really well and the baby is perfectly healthy! :) Great News!

The only bad news is i couldnt find out the sex of the baby today as the babys legs was crossed tightly lol and my hospital will not book me in for another scan as they dont think i need one and it costs them money.
So me and ian are thinking about booking a private gender scan as i dont think we can wait to find out at the birth. The closest Private scan is at Brayford Studios, They charge only £55 for the gender scan & an extra £15.99 for the Dvd.

Im really considering this as i cannot wait to find out properly and start buying the right colors! We'll see, But i will let you know when i book it and will try and film it too. Keep an eye Out! :)

20 weeks Pregnant + Bump!

Yey! Im now officially 20 weeks! Half way through my pregnancy.
I am so excited for my scan! which is booked in for the 8th August! Eeeeek!

Doesnt my bump look huge! :) xxx

16 Weeks Pregnant + Bump!

Hey Everyone!
I apologise for my lack of updating, Unfortunately my Monring sickness has returned and have been sick constantly for weeks, So i finally got my energy levels back up for me to do this post/video :)

I cannot believe i am 16 weeks gone already! Time is going so fast!

My Baby bump is rapidly growing too and its such an amazing feeling to finally feel your baby move around! :)

12 week scan!!

Hey Everyone!!!!

I'm in such a good mood because today i finally got to see my baby for the first time, it was soo beautiful and brought tears to my eyes!

I wasnt able to film in the scan room and she wouldnt let me :(
I apologise.

The sonographer told me that i am 12 weeks and 5 days from today! And that the Baby will be due December 20th!

The baby is perfectly fine and the babys measurements are great, and also the heartbeat is great!

Goodbye First Trimester!!!

 Im sooo relieved to be over my first trimester stage.

Its so exhausting to be constantly tired and feeling sick and also being put off food. Not nice.

The symptom I really can't wait to get rid of though is the entire body exhaustion! I can't wait to wake up in the morning with energy and I think my lovely other half is looking forward to having his girlfriend back in the evenings. At the moment we eat dinner together and then I go off to bed, we have a TV planner full of programmes I'm too tired to stay awake through and I can't remember the last time we had dinner out or went to the cinema.

Ive deffinetely been feeling some 'Butterfly' like movements and its soo amazing! I just cannot wait to finally be showing my true bump and start to feel the proper kicks :)

 

The Next video i'm planning on filming is the Mamas n Papas Pram we have, showing you the pram in detail and how to use it etc.

12 Weeks Pregnant ~ Baby Development

Hey everyone! So im 12 weeks today & i thought i would just give you an insight to what is happening to my Baby's development.

This is a Rough Guide:

From this week you may well be able to hear the baby's heart beat through a doppler monitor on your tummy. You will notice that the rate is up to 160 a minute, double that of a normal adult.
My baby now has a chin and a nose and a facial profile. Vocal chords are complete, The brain is fully formed. Fetus may even suck his thumb.

The eyelids now cover the eyes, and will remain shut until the seventh month to protect the delicate optical nerve fibers. The hair is on the head and the fingers and toes have developed soft nails. The kidneys are developed and begin to secrete urine.

The fetus starts moving spontaneously.

The face is beginning to look like a baby's face.

The pancreas is functioning and producing insulin.

Fingernails and toenails appear.

The baby can suck his thumb, and get hiccups.

How cool is that!

It's amazing just how much the Baby can develop! Here's a picture to what the baby may look like at 12 weeks......

11 Weeks Pregnant + Bump!

Hey everyone!
Im sooo excited to finally have received my letter from my hospital for my Scan appointment!
Its on the 12th June! In the letter it says their can only be 2 people in the room so me and my Fiance will be in the room. Ive mentioned to him a couple of times if he could film the scan but he wants to keep it a special intimate moment between us, Which i understand but i would love to keep you all updated and bring you along with me. Im going to try and convince him that it would be a great idea and that we could look back at it and remember :) Fingers crossed!

I have a feeling that i will cry when i hear the babys heartbeat for the first time! Will feel more real hehe :)

So far my morning sickness has calmed down, I went through a period of a week and a half of constant throwing up & was bed ridden. Not great :(
But since then im only being sick once in the mornings now and the feeling of nausia goes straight afterwards.
Fingers crossed im one of the lucky ones who has stopped their morning sickness stage by 16 weeks!

So its that time where i show you my Bump! This will be the first time ive showed you my belly, I dont think theirs much of a 'bump' yet but my fiance seems to believe their is :)
